Through the support of willing and successful entrepreneurs and other experts, the laboratory offers counseling on a variety of topics to students, faculty, and staff interested in pursuing buiness ideas in the area of Information Technology. In particular, the laboratory provides students, faculty, and staff with guidance throughout the process of developing a new venture, from idea to launch, and provides advise on topics such as:
Entrepreneurs and experts are available to answer specific questions and provide personalized support. Additionally, the laboratory provides information about relavant resources for entrepreneurs, available both online and in the community, that will help students, faculty, and staff leverage their business ideas and make them successful.
LITE offers weekly roundtables every Tuesday, from 11am to 12pm in Room 4600, Engineering Building. Each roundtable is structured into two phases. During the first part of the meeting, LITE staff will provide updates on lab activities, discuss general topics, and answer general questions from the public. During the second part of the meeting, and upon request, students will have the opportunity to receive individualized advising from LITE members.
