The goal of the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation is to enhance entrepreneurship education and training efforts, to encourage entrepreneurship-friendly policies, and to simplify the commercialization of new technologies by entrepreneurs. The Foundation also offers educational programs aimed at preparing students for success and at improving their performance in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Users can sign up for E-newsletters to be informed about the Foundation’s latest developments.

SCORE is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization and offers free and confidential counseling to small businesses. The organization offers email advice online, face-to-face small business counseling, and low-cost workshops. The organization’s volunteers share their experience and lessons learned in business. They are working/retired business owners, executives and corporate leaders. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
